Boxes, Boxes, Boxes Everywhere

Well, it is now getting to the point that I would like to order a demolition expert to help with the situation here. This is but one of many corners in our apartment that is now filled with boxes upon boxes. How, I ask, do two people who have down-sized and moved frequently acquire so much stuff? Like it or not, I don't have much time now to get all of the remainder of the stuff into boxes. The van arrives on Wednesday and then we are off on our adventure to new places and new things but with a whole lot of the old stuff we manage to carry around with us.

The picture to the right is what has been my little corner of the world for the last 10 months. It is from here that I have corresponded with my family and friends and it is from here that I have daydreamed as I looked out the window over the alley onto the bay. We have been fortunate in that we had the most beautiful summer and the days were mostly clear until the last week. Today has been sooooo wet and gray. The forecast is for more. With that it is probably time to get back to the wall of boxes.
